Memory verses for January
Week 1: Psalm 1:1-3
"Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of waters, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Week 2: Psalm 2:9-12
"Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
Be thou wise now therefore, O ye kings: ye judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye parish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all that put their trust in Him."
Week 3: Psalm 3:3
"But thou, O Lord, art a shield unto me; my glory, and the lifter of mine head."
Week 4: Psalm 4:4-5
"Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still.
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord."
